This is a Frequency Converter, and when combined with the Agilent 8510C Network Analyzer will result in a general purpose four-channel magnitude/phase receiver.
Power splitters can be added for transmission measurements, and bridges or for directional couplers for reflection measurements. One input is used for the system phase-lock. There are three other inputs that are available for measurements of the multiport devices, subsystems, and the antennas. All of the four of the inputs on the Agilent 8511B have precision 2.4mm connector.
