  • Accurate calibration and traceability to US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
  • Compatible with EPM (N1913A/ 14A, E4418B/ 19B), EPM-P (E4416A/ 17A) and P-series (N1911A/ 12A) power meters, plus the E1416A VXI and discontinued 70100A and 43X power meter
  • Accurate average power measurements over -70 to -20 dBm
  • Frequency range 10 MHz to 18 GHz
  • Diode power sensing element

The Keysight 11708A 30 dB attenuator is supplied with 8480 series power sensors with the “D” suffix, for calibration with the power meter 0 dBm, 50 MHz reference.

The 8481D diode sensor operates with the EPM series, EPM-P series, 70100A, E1416A and the discontinued 43X power meters, from -70 to -20 dBm

Diode Power Sensor (10 MHz to 18 GHz)

The 8480 series power sensors are used for measuring the average power supplied by an RF or microwave source or device-under-test (DUT). In use, the Power Sensor is connected to the RF or microwave source and to a compatible power meter.

The 8480 series power sensors place a 50-ohm load on the RF or microwave source, except the 8483A which has a 75-ohm load. The power meter indicates the power dissipated in this load in mW or dBm.

A Keysight 11708A 30 dB attenuator is supplied with 8480 series power sensors with the “D” suffix, for calibration with the power meter 0 dBm, 50 MHz references.
