The BK Precision 1601 uses integrated circuits, silicon transistors and diodes, and an SCR. It protects load and instrument against overload. Current limit is fully adjustable from approximately 2.5 mA to 2A. It automatically shuts down and the Overload lamp lights if the preset current limit is exceeded.
