The Keysight Agilent HP 8971C noise figure test set is used with the Keysight Agilent HP 8970B in order to produce noise figure measurement over an extended frequency range. The design and high performance components featured in this model allow for broadband single-sideband measurements from 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz with a single calibration and sweep. The Keysight Agilent HP 8971C has a built in noise preamplifier that lowers the second-stage noise figure and provides a greater degree of accuracy.
